All Year Groups have been collecting plastic bottle tops. They have used them in art lessons to trace around and create their own unique pictures. The children then used water colours to paint their picturs and tried blending colours together to make new colours.
All children have studied Picasso at various levels. They have used oil pastels and block paints in their favourite colours to pain and add detail. They then went on to paint their favourite Picasso paintings and try to capture his style and use of colours. They drew Picasso cockerels and this time looked at the shapes in the cockrell. They drew cockrells with a colouring pencil and added details using lines and dots to give them feathers and texture.
Year 6 went on to make 2D Picasso style faces out of corrugated card. They used pipe cleaners, fabric, buttons, wool, cake cases and silver foil to add dimension and interest to their creations.
