Temple Sutton Sports Vision
At Temple Sutton Primary School we believe that all of our children should find physical activity, challenging, stimulating, fun, whilst developing general life skills such as respect, honesty, team work, confidence and social skill.
We aim to provide a environment for your children to learn through mistakes. “It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed” Theodore Roosevelt.
Physical education within Temple Sutton provides each child with the foundation and principles to value an all round healthy lifestyle through a variety of sports, competitive and non competitive physical activities.

Temple Sutton Cheerleaders ESSEX CHAMPIONS!!!

On Thursday 16th June the Year 4 Cheerleaders went to the Essex Finals in Chelmsford.

The morning consisted of a workshop with the professional cheerleaders from Oblivion which was amazing. The children learnt lots of new skills and watched them perform.

After the workshop the children were all ready for the competition, the children started with a cheer which chants about our school moto. Then onto a routine. All the schools in our competition were really good, the children performed the best they could.

The results were Temple Sutton had come 1st in Essex! The new Essex Champions!!!

I would just like to congratulate the team, they were amazing and I am so proud of them all. We will be opening sports day and performing at the schools summer fete. Well done again to everyone.

Gymnastics - In May the children participated in a gymastics competition held at Alleyn Court.  The children performed floor routines and a vault solo.  Of the three teams entered, we won two gold medals and one silver medal.  It was a fantastic day all round!
