Year 6 have completed their expedition to the Antarctic and Arctic circles this half term. Freezing cold winds blew into the classes and plans were made to survive the weathers assault. Not all the final creations matched the plans nor would they have kept the children safe overnight. One creation did survive a night on the school field although its insulation qualities left a lot to be desired.
Along the way, the classes learnt about the sinking of the Titanic and wrote Haiku about the beauty of The Northern Lights.
Able Maths Day
Four year 6 students attended an Able Maths Day. They worked hard to solve a range of mathematical puzzles - putting not only their numeracy skills to the test but also their reasoning and logic. They even learnt some A-Level Maths! Well done, you represented Temple Sutton well and showed what able Mathematicians you are.
