Dec 2019

This half term we have continued with our Book of the Week culminating in the introduction of The First Christmas Story and other stories related to the festive season.  With each new book we have introduced new experiences and activities relating to the book's theme and enjoyed many community walks, for example, walking to the local florist to buy flowers for Grandma for the story Little Red Riding Hood. The children particularly enjoyed the story Laura's star and we all gathered around the memory tree in the main school to release our wishes.  Earlier in the term we were very busy preparing the garden for Winter and removing old plants and weeds; we are looking forward to the Spring term where we can begin to sow and plant new vegetables and flowers.
