March 2020 - Germs Investigation

This week in Year 2 we have been learning about the importance of washing hands. Here you can see Hedgehog Class exploring how germs are transferred. We have discussed the importance of handwashing to help prevent the spread of germs.
All three classes have  started an experiment to see what will happen to a piece of bread under different conditions. We are looking forward to the results!

Jan 2020 - Timetables Rock Star Launch Day

Year 2 enjoyed dressing up as rock stars today and have already started challenging teachers to a times table battle!

Dec 2019 - Muck, Mess & Mixtures

Our topic this half term was 'Muck, Mess and Mixtures.' It was so lovely to celebrate the children's creativity. We enjoyed our messy engage day where we walked through shaving foam, jelly, cornflour and pasta. We explored different ways to express ourselves through art and we finally celebrated with a successful Art Exhibition. Thank you to all the parents who came to support us.
