Support For Parents

Early Help Offer at Temple Sutton

At Temple Sutton, we are committed to supporting all families in our local community. Our Early Help Offer is designed to provide early intervention, ensuring that children and families receive the right support at the right time. Whether you are a parent, carer, or part of our local community, we are here to help you navigate any challenges you may face and provide assistance to help children thrive.

What is Early Help?

Early Help is a service that focuses on providing support as early as possible when a family or child is in need. We understand that every family is different, and sometimes challenges arise that require extra support. Early Help aims to address these concerns before they become bigger problems, helping children and families stay strong, resilient, and supported.

Our Early Help services are based on a holistic, family-centered approach, meaning we work with all agencies involved with a child or family to provide the most comprehensive support possible.

How We Support Parents and Carers

We know parenting can be challenging, and sometimes, everyone needs a little help. Temple Sutton offers a wide range of Early Help services to support parents and carers through difficult times. Some of the ways we can assist include:

  • Parenting support: Offering advice and guidance on parenting strategies, routines, and managing challenging behaviours.
  • Mental health and well-being support: Providing access to mental health resources and counselling for parents/carers who are facing emotional or psychological challenges.
  • Access to local services: Helping families connect with local resources such as food banks, housing services, and financial support.
  • School readiness: Assisting parents with preparing their children for school, whether that’s offering information on early learning, school transitions, or ensuring children have the necessary skills to succeed.
  • Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND): Offering guidance on how to access support for children with additional needs.

How We Support the Local Community

Temple Sutton is proud to be an integral part of the local community. We offer a wide variety of Early Help services that can be accessed by anyone within the community, not just those directly connected with the school. Our aim is to ensure that no one feels alone and that support is available for everyone who needs it. Services include:

  • Community workshops and activities: Providing free workshops on topics such as financial planning, mental health, nutrition, and child development.
  • Signposting to local services: Connecting families to external community groups, charities, and public services that can provide additional support.
  • Engagement and involvement: Encouraging local families to engage with the school through events and open forums where concerns and suggestions can be heard and addressed.
  • Support for vulnerable families: Offering outreach support for families facing particular challenges, including those affected by poverty, housing issues, or domestic abuse.

Accessing Early Help at Temple Sutton is simple. If you feel you or your child could benefit from any of the services we offer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can contact us through the following methods:
