Special Educational Needs AND DISABILITIES (SEND)
Local Authorities are required to publish a Local Offer which sets out the support that is available for children and young people with SEND in the local area. Southend Borough Council's Local Offer is available on the Southend Help and Information Point (SHIP), which explains how to access services in the area and what to expect from them.
Alongside this, schools are required to publish information about their arrangements for identifying, assessing and making provision for pupils with SEND. Please see below for further information.
The Equality Report below provides an annual summary which includes information about our Public Sector Duties, how the school promotes equality of opportunity and eliminates discrimination, our equality objectives and accessibility plan. If you would like further information or would like to make a suggestion, please contact the school.
